脂质组学在慢性肾病研究中的应用

Application of Lipidomics in the Research on Chronic Kidney Disease

  • 摘要: 慢性肾病(CKD)常伴随心血管疾病的发生,目前,CKD已成为世界性的公共卫生问题。早期发现和监测肾功能是预防CKD发生和发展的关键。传统的肾功能生物标志物检测在早期CKD中灵敏度较低,因此迫切需要高灵敏性的诊断方法。脂质组学是研究脂质紊乱的代谢组学分支,自2003年提出以来,逐渐成为CKD早期诊断和监测的有效手段。综述近年来脂质组学在CKD及相关慢性肾损害研究中的应用进展,并对涉及的脂质紊乱进行了总结与探讨,以期为后续相关研究提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Chronic kidney disease(CKD) has emerged as a worldwide public health threat with various complications of cardiovascular disease. Early detection and careful monitoring of renal function are essential for the prevention of CKD occurrence and progression.Unfortunately, traditional biomarkers of renal function are insufficiently sensitive or specific for the detection of early stages of the disease,so more effective strategies of CKD diagnosis are needed. As a new branch of metabolomics, lipidomics focuses on the metabolic disorder of lipids, and has gradually become an effective method for the early diagnosis and monitoring of CKD since it was established in 2003.This paper reviews the recent applications of lipidomics in the research on CKD and its related kidney damages with summary and discussion of lipid disorders, in order to provide some reference for further investigation.
