Influence of Bacterial Metabolism on Antibiotic Resistance and Its Enlightenment for the R & D of Antibacterial Drugs

  • 摘要: 细菌耐药性一直是全球关注的热点,耐药机制是多样和复杂的,人们对耐药的认识一直在发展中。细菌生理代谢的变化会影响细菌对抗生素的敏感性,能够引起细菌对抗生素敏感性降低,促进耐药、耐受和持留的产生;但对细菌生理代谢的调节,又能恢复其对抗生素的敏感性。简要概述近年来对细菌生理代谢与抗生素敏感性相关的研究进展,旨在深入了解耐药机制,为临床治疗提供对策,拓宽抗菌药物研发的思路。

     

    Abstract: Antibiotic resistance has always been a hot topic all over the world and its mechanisms are varied and complicated. Our understanding of resistance is ever increasing. On the one hand, physiological and metabolic changes in bacteria can reduce bacterial susceptibility to antibiotics and promote the evolvement of resistance, tolerance and persistence. On the other hand, the regulation of physiological metabolism of bacteria can restore their sensitivity to antibiotics. Recent researches on the relationship between bacterial physiology & metabolism and antibiotic susceptibility were briefly outlined in this paper to provide a better understanding of the mechanism of drug resistance, propose new strategies for clinical treatment and broaden the thoughts on R & D of antibacterial drugs.
