Abstract: In recent years, cooperative innovation has become an important means for China's pharmaceutical manufacturing entities to improve their competitiveness. This review analyzes the development process and existing problems of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry using patent cooperation data of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from 1985 to 2016, so as to formulate the innovation policy of the pharmaceutical industry for the government with corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, accelerate the integration of enterprises into the network of cooperative innovation, and promote cooperative innovation in China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with stronger competitiveness.
