Abstract:
With the development of microprocessing technology, intelligent micro/nanorobots, which could be driven by chemical fuels, exogenous fields (magnetic, optical, acoustic, etc.) and bioenergy for effective and fine manipulation, have attracted much attention from multiple fields.Due to their tiny size, wireless maneuverability and high sensitivity, intelligent micro/nanorobots show great potential and wide practical value in biomedical fields. This paper reviews the driving strategies of intelligent micro/nanorobots and their latest advances in disease diagnosis and treatment, including disease diagnosis, targeted delivery and minimally invasive surgery, and discusses the challenges and development prospects of intelligent micro/nanorobots in disease diagnosis and treatment.
