Abstract: Monoclonal antibody drugs have experienced rapid growth and shown remarkable performance in tumor therapy due to their high specificity, strong affinity and long serum half-life. Based on maternal monoclonal antibody, bispecific antibody, antibody fragments and antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) have pushed the development of novel antibody therapeutics to a new height. Here, we review the most recent advances in therapeutic antibodies for cancer treatment, outline various types of therapeutic antibodies and mechanisms of action, and summarize the current status of antibodies approved or under clinical development, aiming to provide some reference for future development of antibody drugs for cancer treatment.
