Abstract:
Stimuli-responsive drug carriers have become a research hotspot due to their good drug-loading stability and biocompatibility. By providing appropriate stimuli under various internal or external conditions, stimuli-responsive drug carriers can achieve precise controlled release of drugs at the target site. This paper briefly introduces the natural and artificially synthesized stimuli-responsive drug carrier materials, the mechanisms of action and design strategies of endogenous and exogenous stimuli-responsive carriers, evaluation indicators and techniques for stimuli-responsive drug carriers and their materials, aiming to provide some reference for the research and development, clinical translation, evaluation and supervision of stimuli-responsive drugs.
