Abstract:
Tumor microenvironment stimuli-responsive polymers are a series of novel polymers that take the unique physiological conditions of tumor microenvironment as stimulation factors and respond to structural or physicochemical changes. They have the advantages of high biocompatibility, good stability, degradable metabolism and easy modification.Immunotherapy has attracted much attention due to its outstanding therapeutic effect and long-term immune memory in tumor treatment. The combination of stimuli-responsive polymers and tumor immunotherapy is expected to become a new strategy for tumor treatment. This paper reviews the classification of stimulation signals in tumor site and the structural types of stimuli-responsive polymers, introduces the application of single and multiple stimuli-responsive polymers in tumor immunotherapy, and also discusses the advantages and challenges of stimuli-responsive polymers in tumor immunotherapy. This review aims to provide reference for the application of stimuli-responsive polymers in tumor immunotherapy.
