Abstract:
CD47 is a widely expressed cell surface glycoprotein interacting with a variety of intracellular and extracellular proteins such as thrombospondin 1(TSP1) and signal regulatory protein alpha (SIRPα) and participating in the regulation of multiple signaling pathways, which play an important role in the occurrence and progression of a variety of diseases such as tumor, cardiovascular diseases and autoimmune diseases. This paper illustrates the structure and expression of CD47, its interactions with other proteins, the signaling pathways involving CD47 and its association with diseases in order to provide help for CD47-targeting strategies development.
