Abstract:
Antibiotics are one of the most important discoveries of the 20th century. The presence of antibiotics has significantly reduced the risk of postoperative infection after conventional surgery. However, the abuse and misuse of antibiotics have led to increased species and quantity of resistant bacteria, leading to the rise of complex and refractory infection and imposing great challenges to clinical treatment. Therefore, there is an urgent need of new antibiotics against resistant bacteria to deal with this problem. This paper briefly overviewed the structures and research progress of several types of antibiotics against resistant bacteria that are under investigation in recent years, including oxazolidinones, tetracycline and glycopeptides, so as to provide reference for subsequent research and development
