Abstract
With the continuous development of nanotechnology, nanoparticles are widely used for the construction of drug delivery systems. Modifying the surface of nanoparticles with natural cell membrane can not only reduce the biological toxicity and immunogenicity of nanoparticles, but also endow them with complex biological activities, including long-term circulation, immune evasion and homologous targeting. The hybrid membrane, which simultaneously contains two or more cell membrane components, has the functions and biological characteristics derived from different cells, achieving diversified delivery purposes. This article reviews the research progress of hybrid membrane-coated nanoparticles and envisions their potential applications in biomedicine field.
