Outlook 2025: Strengthening Confidence, China’s Biopharmaceutical Industry is Breaking New Ground amid Transformation

In 2024, China's biopharmaceutical industry entered a critical transformation period of high-quality development driven by innovation and steady progress in internationalization. In 2025, the biopharmaceutical industry will further integrate and upgrade to build a more competitive and sustainable industry ecosystem. Through multiple rounds of brainstorming roundtables, Shanghai Center for Innovation Drug Discovery and Development (SCIDDD) made the 2025 annual outlook on China's biopharmaceutical industry, and proposed that the industry needs to strengthen its confidence in reform and strive for innovation and development amid transformation.
