Abstract
Restless legs syndrome (RLS), one of common adverse effects of antipsychotics and antidepressants, affect the patients’ quality of sleep, aggravate their psychiatric symptoms, and reduce their quality of life, yet it still has not been widely emphasized in clinical practice. This article provides a review of the possible mechanisms and related treatment methods of RLS caused by antipsychotic and antidepressant drugs, aiming to provide reference for the clinical treatment of RLS.
