Abstract
Fibrosis is the excessive deposition of extracellular matrix caused by excessive activation of fibroblasts stimulated by harmful factors. PDGF is one of the important mediators of fibrotic diseases, and activation of PDGF/PDGFR pathway is involved in the regulation of fibrosis of multiple organs such as heart, liver, kidney and skin. This paper reviews the research progress of PDGF/PDGFR signaling pathway in fibrotic diseases in order to provide reference for the treatment of fibrotic diseases.
