Advances of Research on Technologies for Individualized Treatment in Clinical Drug Therapy

As the core of precision medicine, individualized treatment in clinical drug therapy represents the latest trend of development in contemporary medicine, aiming to ensure the effectiveness, safety and economy of medication. In recent years, with the development of molecular biology, genomics and bioinformatics, pharmacogenomics and therapeutic drug monitoring have helped to afford individualized therapeutic regimen. Significantly, organoid technique has emerged as a new and powerful approach. This article reviews advances of the above-mentioned technologies and their application in personalized pharmacotherapy.
